Channel Measurements and Modeling for Low-Terahertz Band Vehicular Communications

Wireless communications in the low terahertz band (0.1 THz-1 THz) is a promising candidate to enable ultra-high-rate vehicular networks beyond 5G. The successful design and adoption of such systems require deep understanding THz channel specifics complex scenarios. In this paper, comprehensive measurement campaign reported with aim analyzing wave propagation at 300 GHz typical deployments. Following modular approach, generic scenario decomposed into basic setups that are further analyzed detail. obtained data then applied derive mathematical approximations characterize properties for each scenario.
